Medela Family - Breast Feeding App Reviews

When I first started using this app, it was a great way to keep track of feeding, diapers, etc. Now, Im lucky if I can actually get it to work long enough to log things properly. Half the time it logs out when I open the app, and then other times it will act like Ive restarted and ask if my baby has arrived mid-entry. The app is extremely buggy.

This app needs an update to fix all the bugs! Logs me out constantly, and now I cant even access the app anymore! Says "server unavailable"! So frustrating since I have been using this app for the past 10 weeks to track everything.

This app was great until now - am no longer able to login... Says server is unavailable. Please fix asap!!!

This is a really good app in concept. Has all your needs but it has a lot of bugs that need fixed. It kicks me out of my log in all the time. And at the worst time, like feeding. I have a screaming baby and cant tell which breast I left off on cause it just kicked me out. I also think something screwy happens with the timing of when I ended a feeding.Not sure but Im keeping an eye out for it again. And its always the same articles on the home page. Would like some new ones to read.

Except for the app randomly closing and logging me out, it offers a great way to keep track of babys daily activities. However I would suggest a change. The app should recognize that if you nursed only on one side that the other side cannot be selected as the side you last nurses on.

This has a lot of great features that lets you track everything from pumping, breastfeeding, diaper changes, sleep, etc. It does need some work to make it more user friendly, adding a keypad for entry instead of the scrolling wheel would be a huge help. Also would like to see a way to export data for personal backup or to provide to babys Doctor.

The only downsides are due to the app closing or having it need to reboot, also the fact when you track height and weight, they need more options. You can only do round numbers for height and no ounces for weight. I have to use another app for growth. Great for tracking all types of feeding as well as diaper changes. Easy to look back on it as well.

The app is okay, but has some bugs. It randomly logs you out between sessions which makes it annoying for accurate tracking. I also find it randomly tells you its been 5 or more hours since last pump or feeding even though it might really have only been 2 hours. I also dont like how prominently it reminds me when I go back to work. Thats something Im trying not to focus on.

Great app for this first time mom. So glad to have it - wish I would have downloaded it pre-delivery to be ready. Found it on day two and love it!

Ive been using this app to log and track everything for weeks. It was great...then I started getting logged out all the time. It was fine, Id log back in. Then the pages started taking a whole to load..still I managed. NOW I keep getting "Server validation error" and Im no longer able to log in. Im unable to access all the information Ive had so meticulously tracked for weeks...very disappointing. PLEASE FIX this app

This app has made tracking breastfeeding, pumping, diapers, etc... So easy. I really love it, when it works. This app has so many bugs! The server is down A LOT! Its not my wifi connection, its something in Medelas end. When the server is down, I cant track anything. That is why I gave it only 2 stars. If Medela can fix the issues, I would change it to a 5 star rating.

Easy to use, thorough in that you can track feeding, pumping, and bottle amounts. And its free! Love it!

Love the app & think it is extremely helpful for a new mom! However its constantly crashing/not working and its very frustrating. Especially when you use it to schedule your day

I gave a 5 star because the app does exactly what I need it to do; track breastfeeding time and pumping time/quantity. There is still bugs to be fixed; app turns off on its on and it logs me out. Overall I highly recommend the app.
