Medela Family - Breast Feeding App Reviews

This app is just ok. Ive been using the app for about 8 weeks now, but I still have a bunch of issues. My biggest issue is that it keeps logging me out and then saying its unavailable. Its always at the most inopportune time too! I have twins, so I like that I can have 2 babies listed and track diapers and bottles for each. Unfortunately, you cannot switch babies while its tracking - so I cannot track sleep at all. Since they dont start & end at the same time, but overlap, I would like to track them each separately. My other issue is that my babies were in the NICU for 6 weeks. We had an updated weight every day for each of them, but for some reason, the app only lets you enter weights at certain increments, so I couldnt enter the weights every day. That was a bummer. I am also exclusively pumping. But I have to track pumping under one baby, even though I pump for both. In order to see the stats together on one chart, I have to make sure all the data is entered under the same baby. Kind of dumb. It also doesnt show stats for production per breast, even thou you can enter the data that way. My right has significantly dropped in production, but there is no way to see if it has been trending down.

I get so tired of having to log in all time. In addition to that the site is constantly down. It doesnt do me a lot of good to have a tracking app that I can only get into half the time. The app is also very slow! While I like the app, I would rather pay for an app that works consistently and is faster.

How do you guys make great pumps and terrible apps?? Get it together please! This app is way more complicated than it needs to be. I have to go to multiply places to see duration or pumps then another place for total ounces a day. Its not necessary! There are too many steps just to do very simple things which wouldnt be that bad I suppose if I had all the time in the world. Also its always freezing and very very slow. I constantly have to log in as I get kicked off. I can see why this app is free. Its terrible.

I really love this app but it constantly is logging me out or crashing. If it didnt do that, then it would be perfect! It tracks all feelings, diapers, sleep, weight, and height. It really is amazing and I hope with the next update (hopefully soon....) the bugs will be fixed.

Okay, please Medela fix the problem. I have had this app for 7+months. And when it is working I like it. It tracks most things that you need to track for baby. But every few days it decides to log you out. You try logging back in (make sure you hit the log in, not sign up) and it says either error or that your password is wrong . I know for a fact my password is right. Back to the error message- if there are bugs you need to fix them and do an update. There hasnt been one update since I downloaded this app in December of 2015. (iOS) it did the log out, error message today for most of the day. I finally was able to log back in but it had deleted all of my stuff. It basically reset itself. I tried it just now and again with the error message. Yes, Ive tried reloading and deleting it to re-download .

I noticed a lot of complaints of bugs for this app. I leave this app open and I havent had any problems. This is an extremely efficient tool to track your babys intake and development. Also, I find the articles to be timely and helpful. The information is very beneficial to me as a first time mom (it relieves a lot of stress, my husband appreciates it). I go out of my way to purchase Medela products. I feel this company truly loves women and babies. Thank you! I am partnered with Medela on this rewarding journey!

Im always connected to wifi but this app doesnt always work. Ill check when I last breastfed and itll say server is down. Or Ill open the app to record pumping and itll just shut down. Very inconsistent and Ill be looking into a more reliable app.

App rarely works properly. Constantly have to log back in, enter birth date or change settings back to preferences. So annoying when you use the app while pumping or feeding. Would be 5 stars if it worked properly. Get it together Medela.

It keeps everything very well organized, making it easy to share info with my babys pediatrician.

I couldnt agree more with all the recent posts! It has lots of issues - constantly logging out, forgetting logged info, etc. but the worst has been today, it wont even open! I have tried several times but it wont go past the loading screen. As an exclusive pumper I rely heavily on this app! I have 8 months of info in there.

I liked this app for tracking feeding and pumping for my son but it just recently had "server failure" and wont let me back in. I have so much data saved in this stupid app not to mention now I will have to find a new way to track this info. Not happy.

I have used this app for the past 9 months and loved it until 2 days ago. It wont open now!

I been use it this app for 11 months but every time I go to use it it seem Im back before my daughter birth I dont know why Im trying to putting in the exactly date but is not working .

This app is great and super easy to use. You can track everything from diapers nursing pumping sleeping and growth. I love all the tips and suggestions to help your breastfeeding problems. Super easy to use and easy to look back to see your babys schedule.

I like the app because it has quite a bit of options for tracking breastfeeding, diaper change, and pumping. The only down fall that keeps happening to me is almost every time I am about to track my babys feeding the app kicks me out and I have to log in again...

This is my third child that I pumped full tile for, and the app is so much better then writing the time down in a notepad. The app automatically records the time, and makes to easy to calculate how much you are pumping daily so that you can make sure you keep up with milk supply!!!!!

Love this app!! It keeps track of breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, diaper changes, sleeping, weight, & length. Along with my babys age & a picture of her. Perfect for on the go when you forgot the last time you nursed. The only bad thing is it randomly will log me out, but this only happens randomly.

I can do multiple things on this app, and absolutely love it. It makes everything easier! Great for a first time mom!
